Krista Tesreau and Glen Strauss July 24, 2004
Brentwood, CA
The first time Glen Strauss suggested to Krista Tesreau that they meet for their blind date, Krista said... no. The daytime television actress felt Glen's suggestion of a jazz concert in Orange County accompanied by a few of his friends was a bit "much" for their first meeting, but agreed to have lunch instead. However, the music lovers clicked so well over lunch that by the end of the evening, Krista found herself at that concert after all... and several months later, saying "Yes," to Glen's romantic proposal on the golf course at Pebble Beach.
Combining Krista's Catholic faith with the traditions of a Jewish wedding resulted in a beautiful, outdoor ceremony with both a rabbi and a priest officiating. The Brentwood Country Club in Los Angeles made an elegant site for both ceremony and reception, where guests were treated to hours of dancing, two incredible cakes, and the couple's favorite novel as favors. A special performance brought down the house when the bride and groom, both classically trained concert pianists, played together for the delighted crowd... an appropriate start to making beautiful music together for a lifetime.
